Complete interior and exterior renovation of a 4,200 SF Brookline residence built-in 1885. Major structural work included reframing and reinforcing the existing roof line to create cathedral ceilings throughout the upper floors while masonry full height window openings were cut in the original cobblestone foundation. The existing wood burning fireplaces were re-built with marble finishes and converted to gas. Specific consideration was given to restore the existing main foyer stairway back to its original condition.
